Curriculum vitae

Paul Boucherat

Founder of BOUCH, an autonomous agent workforce. I build and run agents that do real work for weeks, not minutes: a live set of UK-data MCP servers, and a self-improving agent that ships its own pull requests. Operations background, self-taught builder. I ship production systems that run unattended, not demos.

What I've built

UK Legal MCP

live

Case law · legislation · Hansard · votes · HMRC · OSCOLA

An agent's grounding for UK legal research: court judgments from Find Case Law, legislation with in-force status, Hansard debates, Commons and Lords division votes, HMRC guidance, and OSCOLA citation parsing — one endpoint, every answer traced to a primary source with citation-grade metadata.

GitHubPyPI

UK Due Diligence MCP

live

Companies House · Charity Commission · Land Registry · Gazette · VAT · sanctions

Automated diligence over official UK registers: Companies House profiles, officers and beneficial ownership, the Charity Commission, Land Registry titles, Gazette insolvency notices, and VAT validation — plus screening of companies, officers and PSCs against the UK, US, EU and UN sanctions lists.

GitHubPyPI

UK Property MCP

live

Land Registry · EPC · market data · SDLT · ownership

Property intelligence for an agent: Land Registry sold prices and title ownership, EPC energy performance, market comparables, and stamp duty calculation — grounded in registered transactions, not estimates.

GitHubPyPI

GOV.UK MCP

live

Official guidance · content · postcode lookup

Official government guidance on tap: GOV.UK search and content retrieval, and postcode-to-local-authority resolution — sourced directly from GOV.UK APIs.

GitHubPyPI

WhatDoTheyKnow MCP

live

UK Freedom of Information requests

The UK's public Freedom of Information archive, made searchable for agents: FOI requests, public authorities, and disclosed responses — grounding research in what is already on the public record.

GitHubPyPI

UK Procurement MCP

early

Live tenders · contracts · renewal radar

UK public procurement over open contracting data: live tenders and awarded contracts, a renewal radar that flags contracts coming up for re-tender, and buyer and supplier intelligence. Early — deployed and running.

PyP6Xer MCP

private

Primavera P6 schedule analysis

Domain breadth beyond public data: Primavera P6 schedule analysis — critical path, earned value, float distribution, resource utilisation, and schedule-quality scoring — validated on a live 6,000-activity railway programme. The method holds in any domain with a typed core.

Three patterns

01

The Servers

A live set of MCP servers wired into UK public data: companies, courts, land, procurement, tax, FOI. Deployed, open source, running unattended. Every answer traces to a real register or record — grounded, not guessed.

02

The Agent Factory

A self-improving agent, built on eve, that builds and improves agents autonomously. It writes its own backlog, works it on a schedule, and opens pull requests a human merges. Long-horizon and governed: it holds the thread across sessions and stops at the approval gate.

03

Data Platform to Product

A repeatable method: unify fragmented UK registers into a typed core, expose it through one grounded endpoint, then put an agent on top. One call returns the whole picture — the raw sources stay underneath, the agent does the work.

Experience

Founder BOUCH — bouch.dev

2023 – Present

Nottingham, UK

Building and running BOUCH, an autonomous agent workforce. A live set of UK public-data MCP servers (companies, courts, land, procurement, FOI), deployed and published open source, plus a self-improving agent that builds and improves agents autonomously behind human approval gates and ships its own pull requests. Open source under github.com/uk-agents. Long-horizon, governed, grounded: agents that hold the thread and finish the work.
